The Ontario Planetarium is an innovative new way to bring world-class space and science shows to schools, libraries, seniors residences, camps, parks, malls, groups, private functions, and many, many other locales throughout Ontario at a fraction of the cost of travelling to a fixed facility.

The planetarium’s inflatable dome and accessories can fit in a compact car, yet can seat 35 kids (or 30 general public) when inflated to its full 16 foot diameter (10 foot height, appox.)

Using modern LCD projection technology and the latest astronomy software, The Ontario Planetarium can project moving, photorealistic 3D space imagery on its dome.

Presenters Peter McMahon (space journalist, children’s author, and “Wilderness Astronomer”) and Rick Stankiewicz (accomplished astrophotographer and amateur astronomer) deliver exclusive shows under the dome not available at any other facility in Canada, based on several decades of combined experience presenting astronomy programming to large audiences.
